Sometime after its formation UQ did a series of recordings in unusual environments such as storm-water drains, silos, and also a number of churches such as the St Kilda Anglican church, sienna chapel in Camberwell, and also the Sacred Heart church located in Grey Street St Kilda. The rationale was to determine how an environment "coloured" the improvisations. Somehow the Sacred Heart church favoured certain harmonies and keys,furthermore the visually rich environment determined the mood of these improvisations. Subsequently we performed a ritual in the church based on these improvisations and released a cassette tape of the material recorded live mostly during rehearsal. The original master tapes were re-mixed and remastered to produce this CD, a very ethereal and beautiful collection of A-Capella pieces, with some minimal instrumental additions
